Ingredients

Instructions

  • Heat oil - add jeera let it crackle. Add onion saute till it becomes transparent, then add capsicum, sauté for 2 mins.
  • Add garam masala powder and required salt. Saute for 3-5 mins in low flame. Set aside to cool.
  • Heat the dosa tawa, I used my square tawa. You can use normal dosa tawa and make small round thick dosas too. Make the dosa, drizzle oil.
  • Cook covered, do not flip. Once the top is cooked, remove the dosa from flame. Make 4 dosas likewise and let it to cool for few minutes.
  • Now get ready with the prepared dosa, green chutney, prepared capsicum stuffing and cheese for assembling.
  • First spread the green chutney on the dosa, then add the capsicum stuffing over it.
  • Sprinkle cheese over it. Close with another dosa and press it firmly for sealing.
  • Prepare the sandwich maker as per the instruction manual. Grease the grilled sandwich plates with butter.
  • Grill it for 5mins or until you see grill marks.
  • Remove, cut and serve Dosa Sandwich hot!

Notes

  • If you don't have sandwich maker, then toast on dosa tawa itself until the edges turn slightly crisp.
  • The stuffing can be your choice, you can add any veggies too.
  • I used normal cube cheese, you can use mozarella cheese for a gooey flowing effect.
