Spaghetti Stir Fry

Spaghetti is a simple, tasty dish made by cooking spaghetti with veggies, olives and seasoned with spices. Spaghetti is a quick cook healthy recipe which will be savoured by the entire family. How to cook Spaghetti Stir Fry is explained in this recipe with step by step pictures.

Ingredients

  • 150 gms spaghetti I used whole wheat spaghetti
  • 1/4 cup cabbage chopped lengthwise
  • 2 carrot small chopped lengthwise
  • 1/2 capsicum chopped lengthwise
  • 10 olives optional
  • 2 teaspoon garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon soya sauce
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon mixed herbs / italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • water as required

Instructions

  • Boil water, add the spaghetti along with little salt and a teaspoon of oil.
  • Cook until soft. Drain water,wash it under cold water and set aside.
  • Get all your veggies ready.
  • Heat oil – saute garlic until golden brown then add carrot and cabbage.
  • Fry until it shrinks and raw smell leaves.
  • Then add capsicum and olives, saute for 2mins.
  • Then add soya sauce keeping flame in high.Keep sitrring continuously.
  • Lower the flame and saute the veggies along with black pepper powder,italian seasoning for 2mins.
  • Then add cooked spaghetti and give a quick toss until the veggies are evenly coated with spaghetti.Switch off.
  • Serve Spaghetti hot with tomato sauce or you can have it as such as its wholesome.

Notes

  • Do not add more soya sauce than mentioned amount as soya sauce will be overpowerful.
  • You can even add spring onions as we do for fried rice.
  • Veggies is totally of your choice. I had salt pickled olives so used it. You can use fresh or tinned olives too.
  • I used whole wheat spaghetti, you can use any of your choice.
