Cinnamon tea recipe

Cinnamon tea a simple comforting tea with cinnamon, honey and lemon. It works as a great weightloss recipe when consumed in empty stomach early morning.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 3 one inch cinnamon sticks
  • honey to taste
  • juice from 1/2 lemon

Instructions

  • To begin with first start by adding water to a sauce pan.
  • Then boil it.
  • Once it starts to boil rigourously add cinnamon barks.
  • Simmer for about 10 mins or until the water color changes to light brown.
  • Close and set aside for 5-10 mins for the flavour to steep in well.
  • After that, strain to serving glass.
  • Add honey to taste.
  • Add lemon juice to it.
  • Mix well and Serve!
  • Serve cinnamon tea hot or warm!

Notes

  • After adding cinnamon sticks simmer until the flavour infuses well in the water.
  • Choose cinnamon sticks with rough outer surface.
  • It is best to consume fresh,so serve it hot or warm.
