How to cook corn (2 ways)

Corn is a quick, flexible snack to make for kids & family in the evening. How to cook corn 2 ways open pot method and pressure cooker method is explained in this post.

Ingredients

Open pot method:

  • 1 cup corn
  • 2 cups water

Pressure cooker method:

  • 1 cup corn
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

Open pot method:

  • Boil water add fresh corn kernels to it.
  • Let it cook for 10-12 mins. You can taste check to see if its cooked. Once cooked switch off. Drain water and use it for corn recipes.

Pressure cooker method:

  • To a pressure cooker add corn kernels, add 1 cup water.
  • Pressure cook for 3-4 whistles. Let pressure release by itself. Now open drain water and use the corn for recipes.
