Vanilla Kesari Recipe

Vanilla Kesari is a mild vanilla flavored rava kesari with video and step by step pictures.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup fine sooji
  • 1/2 cup vanilla sugar
  • 3 tablespoon ghee
  • 1 tablespoon cashews broken
  • 1 and 1/4 cups water
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence

Instructions

  • Heat 1 tablespoon ghee in a pan - add cashews fry until golden, remove and set aside.
  • Add sooji to the same pan fry until aromatic (low flame) for 3 mins. Remove nand set aside.
  • Heat water in a pan let it boil simmer then add roasted sooji in a sprinkled manner.
  • Keep stirring to avoid lumps. Once its cooked and becomes thick add vanilla sugar and vanilla essence.
  • mix well, the moisture will become gooey. Add remaining ghee little by little, mix well until a mass comes together without sticking much.
  • Cook covered for 2 mins, mix well add fried cashews give a quick mix and switch off. Enjoy Vanilla Kesari hot!
