Moth bean sundal recipe a quick and healthy sundal
- 1/3 cup moth bean
- 2 tbsp coconut
- water as needed
- salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 1/4 tsp urad dal
- a pinch hing
- 1 no red chilli
- few curry leaves
Rinse moth bean until water is clear, drain and add it to a pan along with water and required salt.Add water only till immersing level.
Mash to check, should not be mushy at the same time when you press it should be soft.Set aside, do not strain water.To a pan - heat oil add the items listed under 'to temper' let it splutter.
Saute till dal turn golden then add cooked bean along with water.Saute for a minute.
Let the water absorb, add required salt.Mix well then add coconut give a quick saute and switch off.
