  • Measure 1 cup makhana and keep it ready.
  • To a bowl add red chilli powder, chat masala powder, roasted jeera powder and black salt. Add honey to it. Make a paste, set aside.
  • Add makhana to a pan roast until crispy, if you want you can add oil/ ghee I just dry roasted. Break and see or taste and check. Switch off.
  • Add the paste to it, let it cook in that heat itself. Give a quick toss.
  • Tangy crispy Khatta Meetha Makhana ready!

Notes

  • Once makhana is done, switch off then add the paste. That heat is just enough for it to cook.
  • Increase or decrease the spice level according to your preference.
