Ajwain Water

Ajwain Water is a home remedy for digestion problems in 8+months babies, kids and toddlers. Ajwain water is made by roasting ajwain, boiling it with water and straining it.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon ajwain / omam
  • 1/2 teaspoon palm sugar candy / panangkarkandu
  • 3/4 cup water

Instructions

  • Measure ajwain take it your palms. Crush it well.
  • Now its crushed, transfer it to a pan dry roast for a minute. Then add palm sugar candy.
  • Add water to it. Let it boil for 10 mins in low flame or until the mixture becomes half. Switch off.
  • Strain it. Press well to extract the juice completely. Ajwain water is ready.
  • Feed Ajwain Water warm for babies and serve for adults.

Notes

  • This is not only for babies and kids, even you can have it after a heavy meal.
  • Increase or decrease sweetness according to your preference. As ajwain concoction is strong you need some sweetener to suppress it.
  • Make this instantly and drink. Do not store and use it, make it fresh every time and consume immediately.
  • When you first introduce just start with 1/2 teaspoon then gradually increase the quantity.
