Preheat oven at 190 deg C for 10 mins. Take a mixing bowl - add wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add sugar to it.
Add black poppy seeds, mix well and set aside.
In another mixing bowl - add an egg whisk until pale. Add curd.
Add lemon juice. Whisk once.
Add melted butter, mix it. Add flour mixture.
Add lemon zest. Mix with a spatula.
Using an ice cream scooper scoop out the batter.
Arrange muffin liners in muffin mould. Drop the scooped batter into the liners, sprinkle sugar on top.
Bake in preheated oven at 190 deg C for 25-30 mins or until the top turns golden and crusty.
