Mango agar agar pudding recipe using china grass or agar agar.

  • 3/4 cup mango puree
  • 1/4 cup milk(boiled and cooled)
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 5 gms china grass(agar agar)
  • chopped mango cubes (just for garnish)
  • color sprinklers (optional - just for garnish)
  1. Cut agar agar into small strips in case if its a big sheet like.Measure and take agar agar in a sauce pan,add water to it.Heat it up.

  2. Keep stirring and cook in low flame.Cook until it is completely dissolved and the water is clear without any strips.Switch off and set aside to cool down a bit.

  3. Take chopped mangoes in the mixer jar, add sugar and milk.

  4. Blend to a smooth puree.Add this puree to china grass mixture.

  5. Mix it well and immediately pour into pudding cups.Allow it to set for 15 mins in room temperature or refrigerate it.Gently slide the edges and demould it.

  6. Serve chilled with chopped mangoes and color sprinklers.
