Baked Oatmeal Bars

Baked Oatmeal Bars are tasty, flaky energy bars made by blending oats with milk, butter and flavours to a dough and baking it. Baked Oatmeal Bars is relished for dietary breakfast along with milk and also as a snack. Baked Oatmeal Bars making are easy and quick to make.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup milk You can substitute with coconut milk too
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  • Preheat oven at 180 deg C.
  • To a mixer jar - add 1 and 1/2 cups oats along with brown sugar and milk. Add 1/2 cup water.
  • Then add butter. Blend it for few seconds until it comes together.
  • Transfer to a mixing bowl, add remaining 1/2 cup oats. Mix well. The mixture should be slightly thick but spreadable. If its too thick add little more water.
  • Grease a baking tray with butter. Transfer the mixture to the tray.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 40-45 mins or until the top turns golden.
  • Cool down completely then cut into squares and enjoy Baked Oatmeal Bars!

Notes

  • I used rolled oats which is preferred for this recipe.
  • Check after 35 mins and bake accordingly, the timing may vary.
