Dry roast oats for 3-5 mins in low flame.Cool down completely.
Transfer it to mixer jar and powder it.Cool down for a while then store.
For the porridge:
Take oats cereal mix in a pan, add water to it and start cooking.
Cook in low flame. It will start getting thick.Add sweetner if you are adding at this stage.
Cook till the porridge coats the ladle, adjust consistency according to your baby's preference.Serve warm!
Notes
Roasting helps in adding flavour to the mix also gives more shelf life.
Can be stored and used for a month in room temperature
Keep changing the texture of the food, start with smooth purees and porridges slowly change it to coarse then biting texture so that the baby get used to eat varieties.
