Oats broken wheat porridge mix recipe ideal travel food for babies

Ingredients
  • 1 cup broken wheat
  • 1/4 cup oats
  • 1/4 cup roasted gram dal
For making porridge:
  • 2 tsp porridge mix powder
  • hot water as needed
Instructions
  1. In a pan take measure and add broken wheat, roast until golden. It will give nice aroma at this stage.Transfer to a plate.Set aside.

  2. Measure and take oats, roast until golden brown, transfer to the plate.Set aside.

  3. Now measure and take gram dal and roast until golden.Transfer to the plate and set aside.Set the ingredients aside for atleast 15-20mins for it to cool down.

  4. Transfer to a mixer jar and grind it to a fine powder.Sieve it.You can grind in batches too.

  5. The powder should be fine.Now collect the scrap and grind it again or in the next batch.Cool down then store in a clean dry box.

For making porridge :
  1. Take 2 to 3 tsp porridge mix powder, add hot water to it.

  2. Mix well to form a smooth porridge without any lumps.
