Measure and add wheat flour to a mixing bowl. Add baking powder and salt.
Add black poppy seeds. Whisk it and set aside.
In another mixing bowl add oil, powdered sugar.
Add lemon juice. Whisk it.
Now add lemon zest. Mix it. Then add flour mixture.
Mix with your finger tips, now add chilled water little by little to form a dough.
Cling wrap and chill it for at least 30 mins.
Roll out the dough to 1/4inch thickness and cut out cookies using your favorite cookie cutter.
Meanwhile preheat oven at 180 deg C for 10 mins.
Collect the extras again roll out. Repeat to finish.
Arrange in a baking tray with butter paper laid.
Bake in preheated oven at 180 deg C for 10-12 mins or until the edges start to turn golden. Enjoy Lemon Poppy Seed Cookies!
