Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup whipped cream I used frozen
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 12 nos dates deseeded
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • sprinklers as needed

Instructions

  • Soak dates in milk for at least 30mins.
  • Transfer it to mixer jar and grind to a paste as fine as  possible. It will be slightly coarse only.
  • Take the chocolate chips in a bowl and using double boiler method melt the chocolate until gooey.
  • Now add dates puree to it, mix thoroughly and set aside to cool.
  • In another mixing bowl - take whipped cream. I used frozen whipped cream. Whip until peaks are formed. It should stand firm this is the right consistency.
  • Mix it with a spatula. To this, add dates chocolate mixture. Mix it well.
  • Scoop into individual serving glasses, add some sprinklers and chill it for at least 30 mins for it to get set.

Notes

  • Do not add the chocolate mixture to fresh cream when its still hot, let it cool down then add it.
  • I used brown dates, you can use black dates too.
