To a pan add 6 nos cashews, 6 nos almonds, 8 nos pistachios along with 4 nos pepper corns, 1/2 inch cinnamon stick, 2 nos cloves, 1 no cardamom.
Roast for 2-3 mins. Take care not to burn the nuts and spices so roast in low flame.
Add a tiny pinch of saffron. Switch off.
Give a quick mix and remove from flame.
Cool down completely then transfer to a dry mixer jar.
Grind it to a powder. Coarse or fine it is your preference.
I usually make it semi fine. Set aside.
To a sauce pan - add 2 cups milk.
Let it come to a rolling boil.
Swirl the pan and let it sim.
Now add 2 tablespoon sugar. Adjust according to your sweet preference.
Add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder. Simmer for a minute.
Then add nuts powder. Add chopped nuts.
Add grated nutmeg. Give a quick mix so that no lumps are formed.
Simmer for 2-3 mins. Switch off. Pour into serving cup.
Add chopped nuts, saffron as garnish.
