Cutting chai recipe a mumbai special tea served just half portion in a special glass.

  • 1 cup water
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 heaped tsp tea powder
  • 1.5 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ginger grated
  • 2 nos whole cardamom
  1. Heat water in a sauce pan - add grated ginger along with crushed cardamom.
  2. Add tea powder and sugar to it.
  3. Let it boil for 3-5 mins , simmer.Add milk to it.
  4. Let it come to a rolling boil, repeat again(2 boils in total),simmer for a minute then switch off.
  5. Strain, pour to another tumbler froth it.To the cutting chai glass pour only half, then serve.
  6. Serve hot!
