Pista Mousse

Pista Mousse is a silky smooth, yummy pudding made by blending whisked fresh cream with melted chocolate & pista and chilled. Pista Mousse is tasty treat for the family after holiday lunch which the family will crave for more. Pista Mousse is a must try at home for its taste and for the joy of exploring.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup whipped cream
  • 1/4 cup white chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon pistachios
  • a pinch cardamom powder

Instructions

  • Take cream in a mixing bowl whisk well until soft and until soft peak forms.
  • To a heat safe bowl add cooking chocolate. Using double boiler method (the bowl containing chocolate should not touch water) melt the chocolate and set aside to cool.
  • To a mortar and pestle add pistachios, crush them to a coarse mixture. Now take cream.
  • Add crushed pistachios to it(reserving a teaspoon for garnish). Add melted chocolate and cardamom to it. Mix well.
  • Spoon the mixture and add to serving glasses.
  • Garnish with crushed pistachios and edible silver beads. Chill at least for an hour before serving.
  • Serve Pista Mousse chilled!

Notes

  • Add sugar if needed. The mild sweetness was just right for us.
