  • 5 whole cashews OR 10 halved cashews
  • 10 pistas
  • 10 raisins
  • 5 dates
  • a pinch saffron
  • 3/4 cup milk for soaking
  • 3/4 cup milk to be freezed prev night
  • chopped nuts and few strands saffron for garnish

Instructions

  • Take around 5 dates along with 10 raisins, 5 whole cashews, 5 almonds and 10 pistachios and 1/4 teaspoon saffron.
  • Rinse the nuts and soak it in 3/4 cup warm milk(boiled) for 1 hour. Alternatively you can soak the dry fruits in hot water and then add milk to blend.
  • Soaked and ready.
  • Now to a mixer jar add soaked nuts and dry fruits along with that milk,
  • Grind it smooth.
  • Now add 3/4 cup frozen milk.
  • Blend well until smooth and frothy like this.
  • Your dry fruits and nuts milkshake is ready!

Notes

  • Dry fruits and nuts - You can use any nuts and dry fruits of your choice. Add figs, walnuts, pine nuts, hazelnuts etc. Make sure to proportionate them with dry fruits and milk. I have used seeded dates, so de seeded them and used. You can use pitted dates that is easily available in stores.
  • Milk - I have used regular cows milk that is boiled. You can replace regular milk with soya milk or oat milk or almond milk etc, this makes the milkshake easily vegan. You can skip frozen milk and add milk itself but if you want a frothy and creamy shake then add frozen milk helps. It gives a rich creamy texture to milkshakes.
  • Flavoring - I have used saffron but you can replace with cardamom or cinnamon or coco powder or rose essence or grated nutmeg, this is purely your choice.
