Homemade jeera powder recipe
Homemade jeera powder recipe, roasted cumin seeds powder can be used in curries and gravies.
- 1/2 cup jeera(cumin seeds)
To a kadai add jeera roast in low flame. Do not burn cook in low flame.
Roast until its aromatic and turns golden.Switch off and spread it on a plate to cool down.Cool down completely.
Transfer to a mixer jar and grind it to a fine powder.Cool down then store.
Cool down then store in a dry airtight container.
- You can use this for curries, gravies,parathas and salads too.
- Shelf life in room temperature - 6 months.Use clean dry spoon everytime.
