I haven’t tried muffins for breakfast, we usually have it for snack time. But when I made this whole wheat jaggery muffins for the first time I loved it so much, even mittu didn’t have complaints and had it whole heartedly so why not give it for breakfast when it has all the goodness of whole wheat and jaggery.These days I have been experimenting a lot with cane sugar for baked goodies, though it comes out a bit dense the taste compensates.I baked a small batch and gave her for school snacks too.I added a handful full of grated carrot replacing tutti frutti , replaced jaggery with cane sugar and sprinked with chocolate semiya on top.

Very nice breakfast idea Sharmi. I tried the tutti frutti one with Jaggery came out very well, we all liked it a lot. My daughter took it for school snacks. You are telling cane sugar – means nattu sakkarai or karupatti? please tell, I can try. Carro
Hi Sharmi, carrots grated – we need to fry the grated carrots or we can add it raw – any tips like dusting the tutti frutty ?… Cane sugar means Nattu chakkarai or karupatti? plese tell I can try. No add it raw…Cane sugar is karumbu sakkarai, you can even try with karupatti.
