Vanilla Kesari is a mild vanilla flavored rava kesari with video and step by step pictures.
The idea of vanilla kesari came from mittu when I was thinking of recipes to make using the homemade vanilla sugar and I was like wow thats a cool idea.So made up my mind to try it out immediately before I forget.I tried it last week and it was a treat as the mild vanilla flavour goes very well with kesari.

Vanilla Kesari Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup fine sooji
- 1/2 cup vanilla sugar
- 3 tbsp ghee
- 1 tbsp cashews broken
- 1 and 1/4 cups water
- 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
Instructions
- Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a pan - add cashews fry until golden, remove and set aside.
- Add sooji to the same pan fry until aromatic (low flame) for 3 mins. Remove nand set aside.
- Heat water in a pan let it boil simmer then add roasted sooji in a sprinkled manner.
- Keep stirring to avoid lumps. Once its cooked and becomes thick add vanilla sugar and vanilla essence.
- mix well, the moisture will become gooey. Add remaining ghee little by little, mix well until a mass comes together without sticking much.
- Cook covered for 2 mins, mix well add fried cashews give a quick mix and switch off. Enjoy Vanilla Kesari hot!

How to make Vanilla Kesari
