Reduce Food Wastage using Tupperware Products

September 13, 2014 by Sharmilee J 5 Comments

I received a mail from Tupperware few weeks back asking me to support their Care4Food campaign by sharing my ideas and experience of reducing food wastage using tupperware products.I am using tupperware products since my college days when it was first introduced so I agreed to it. I actually wanted to write a post about tupperware products so have showcased few storage containers that I am using in my day to day life…the pic shows a freezer proof container, 2 cool and fresh storage containers and a go bowled bowl . I love the buddy bowl and the tropical twins, I have few colored tropical twins and few more I got as gifts from my friends. I usually chop the veggies for fried rice / kurma and refrigerate them, which makes the veggies stay fresh. Also I make chapathi dough and use my buddy bowl to store it.
The coriander leaves stays fresh for long and I am really happy with the results.I just finished making my batch of sathu maavu powder in bulk so used another storage container for it….Just store and put it in the fridge and you can even use for more than 6 months.I am sure the freezer container will be useful for storing frozen items.Tupperware products keeps the food fresh and helps to avoid food wastage.
Care4Food is an initiative taken from Tupperware to make caring for food a lifestyle to follow in this modern era. Care4Food is a platform that offers methods to take care of food at various levels right from buying, storing, preparation and leftover management. Food lovers can share their own experiences and practices of saving food and support this campaign to become a Food Savior.
For over 60 years, Tupperware has been creating a niche for itself in the business world, making a difference to the lives of millions through its innovative storage products and extremely attractive business opportunity.
All Tupperware products are made from safe, non-toxic, non-carcinogenic materials; thus they do not release harmful chemicals to food or liquid contents. Materials & Additives used exceed US Food & Drug Administration (FDA) & Japan Polyolefin Hygienic Association standards. What it means is that you can use with peace of mind every time!
Tupperware ensures lifetime warranty for any manufacturing defect, that is cool right!?
