Prunes Smoothie is a delicious breakfast smoothie which is so filling.Recently I tried few recipes with prunes and am already loving it so much.To me it tasted more like elanthapazham which has a tangy taste.
Prunes is nothing but dried plums and has many health benefits : it helps to relieve from constipation,helps digestion,lowers blood pressure etc.I had this smoothie for breakfast and was feeling so full.

Prunes Smoothie
Ingredients
- 2 cups chilled milk boiled and cooled
- 5 nos prunes
- 1 tbsp quick cooking oats
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- 1/4 cup chopped apples
- 5 nos almonds
Instructions
- To a mixer jar - add milk and prunes.
- Add oats,honey and peanut butter.
- Finally add almonds and apple cubes.Blend until smooth and frothy.
Notes
- I wanted to add chia seeds, took and kept but forgot to add. So you can add the ingredients which you like plus or minus according to your preference.
- Mix well before serving or drinking as the nuts and dry fruits goes and settles at the bottom.
How to make Prunes Smoothie

- To a mixer jar – add milk and prunes.
- Add oats,honey and peanut butter.
- Finally add almonds and apple cubes.Blend until smooth and frothy.
- To a mixer jar – add milk and prunes.
Serve immediately!
