Peanut butter granola with step by step photos.This Peanut butter granola is the perfect make-ahead breakfast and when you are bored of making the usual breakfast.
I am sure this granola recipes would be of great help when you wake up late in the morning and looking for quick breakfast ideas.
Me and amma are great fans of granola recipes and this peanut butter granola is a new addi(c)tion. She loves to eat it as such and I love to have with chilled milk.Hubby is not fond of granola for breakfast but he likes to snack on it,mittu loves granola bars as she is too picky…my genes at work 😉 🙁

Peanut butter granola
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp thin jaggery syrup
- 2 tsp butter
- 1 tbsp dried cranberries
- 2 tbsp roasted peanuts(skin removed)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl,take rolled oats.Add peanuts and dried chopped cranberries.
- Mix well and set aside. In a sauce pan take butter.
- Add peanut butter(I used the chunky variety),Add brown sugar and jaggery syrup.
- Heat it up just for few seconds until it melts,no need to bubble up.Now pour this sauce to the oats mixture.Mix well with a spoon, it should be evenly coated.Preheat oven at 175 deg c.
- Spread it on a baking tray and bake in preheated oven for 15-20 mins or until golden brown.Remove then cool down completely then store.
Notes
- Instead of peanuts you can even add alomnds or any nuts of your choice.
- Do not overbake, bake until golden brown that will be perfect.
- If you want you can even add choco chips,add it after baking when it is still warm so that it does not melt.
