Lockdown recipes, Indian lockdown recipes includes breakfast recipes, lunch menu plan, snacks and dinner recipes
As we have limited access to veggies and groceries we need to keep an eye and meal plan accordingly.I am sure most of you must have stocked up enough to last for the next mont atleast and it becomes a challenge to menu plan, keep it balance and empty all of them without getting wasted or spoiled.
I am sure we all have enough time now to spend time with family, relax and cook so make use of it completely. We are not accessible to outside food so its our responsibility to satisfy our family’s cravings and ofcourse ours too 🙂 But yes make sure to be balanced on the daily menu.
I usually make it a point to make special dishes on and off so that no one complains and cribs about the meal.I don’t have the habit of meal planning for a week or so just think of the menu in mind for the next day alone. But its your preference, first look into the veggies that will first get spoiled and finish it off fast, when your veggie stock is going to empty/emptied then come to the legumes which can be the best option for sides.
Always have enough stock of rice, dal, chapathi flour, millets, sooji etc as we can live with it even in the worst condition.
As the lock down has again extended thought to categorise the recipes and post it now atleast.I have categorised the recipes in Sharmis Passions into 5 categories for easy meal planning.Just click on each to download the pdf files, inside you have clickable links to each recipes mentioned.Happy cooking!!
