Coin Oothappam,Chutney,Sambar,Orange Juice

Coin Oothappam is a great idea for kids especially for fussy eaters.I made drumstick sambar for lunch which I paired it for breakfast too.Mittu loves this coin oothappam / dosa tossed in idli podi, you can make that or just serve it plain with sidedishes.

Here is the kids breakfast menu 21:

Coin Othapam (Idli Dosa Batter)
Chutney , Chutney2
Sambar
Orange Juice

Method:

  1. Heat dosa tawa.Take idli dosa batter with a small spoon and pour it on the dosa tawa,do not spread.Drizzle ghee.
    Coin Oothappam,Chutney,Sambar,Orange Juice - Step1
  2. Cook covered for 2 mins.Flip over and cook on both sides till golden and slightly crisp at the edges.
    Coin Oothappam,Chutney,Sambar,Orange Juice - Step2

My Notes:

  • If you spread and make it thin you can get coin dosa.
  • Drizzle ghee generously.
  • Though I did not get perfect round shapes am sure you will get it by practice.
