Chapathi upma recipe can be easily made with leftover roti.We usually have few leftover roti or chapathi so that can be transformed into this tasty chapathi upma.
I had it with hot chocolate milk yum breakfast it was!

Chapathi upma recipe with leftover chapathi or roti.

Ingredients
- 3 nos chapathi
To temper:
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp urad dal
- few curry leaves
- 1 no green chilli
- 1 small carrot (grated)
- 1/4 cup onion (finely chopped)
Instructions
- Take leftover chapathis, tear them roughly like shown below.
- Transfer to mixer jar and pulse it few times until you get a mixture like flakes.Transfer to a bowl and set aside.
- Heat oil in a pan - add the items listed under 'to temper'Let it splutter.Add chopped onion.
- Saute till it shrinks then add grated carrot saute till raw smell leaves,add required salt.
- Saute for 2 mins then add chapathi flakes, toss it well.Serve hot!

How to make chapathi upma recipe:

- Heat oil in a pan – add the items listed under ‘to temper’Let it splutter.Add chopped onion.

- If you want to add eggs you can add it at this stage.Saute for 2 mins then add chapathi flakes, toss it well.Serve hot!
