Phulka (Chapthi) – 2
Ghee – 1 tbsp
Sugar / Honey – 1 tbsp
Cardamom powder – 1/4 tsp
Method:
- Take 2 leftover phulkas / chapathi. Cut them into squares or tear thm into peices.Heat ghee in a pan adn toss the pieces till they are evenly coated with ghee.
- When the rotis start to turn crisp, add sugar and keep in low flame, stir once. Sugar will start to melt and caramelise in few minutes.Gently mix so that it coats evenly. Switch off and add cardamom powder.
Serve warm with a cup of coffee…yum!
My Notes:
- You can use the same recipe for leftover dosa or bread too.
- They are crisp and yummy. But if you want them a bit on the softer side then just toss the rotis and sprinkle sugar and switch off.
